Great for snorkeling, swimming and great close-ups. Easy to use.
Great water camera, I have had a TG-6 and lost it so I bought this TG-3 used at a great deal. This TG-3 has the ability to take a MACRO picture. You can YouTube it to understand it better, but you can take a picture 3 inches or so away from a butterfly(bug) and then look at the picture in the fill and ZOOM in to about 1/4 inch area. VERY clear closeups. I bought extra batteries so I don't run out of power before I take enough 64gig SD card videos. Great snorkeling camera as most people can't pass 30ft without extra gear. Light weight and easy to handle. It also has more features than I ever use.

Great for Outdoor enthusiasts
I bought this camera specifically for the Microscope Mode. It is the easiest, least expensive, way to take closeups of insects or other very small things. After using it for a week or so it became a permanent fixture in my hiking gear. While it isn't as good as my 24MP DSLR with a bag full of accessories, it is darn close and fits in my pocket instead of a full camera backpack. You will want to get an extra battery and, possibly, an external charger. The battery life is about 250 shots which can go by pretty quickly out in the field. Until USB ports start growing on trees, a spare battery is the next best thing. =;)

These cameras are awesome for the recreational diver. I used my first one over 100 times in the water before it suffered a tragic death by the dive dive. My fault not the cameras!~ I bought a replacement last month and could not be happier. All around excellent purchase for the adventure types.

A camera for documenting the zombie apocalypse.
This is a replacement and upgrade for a TG-1 that I used to have (stolen). Simple to use, great picture quality (especially macro), and extremely durable. I've used mine skiing in cold temps., hunting in variable mostly cold and wet multi-day excursions. and above and below saltwater. There are not many pcs of equipment that can ride along with me, this does the job.
