This gift was perfect for many reasons. This was a gift for my fiancee, the ONE thing she wanted most this year. When I found and bought it, I was scheduled to arrive for another week, but (two days after) I was surprised to have it delivered a day before Christmas! Before I gave it to her, I adjusted the settings. And the laptop booted up and functioned beautifully. (Still no issues) And as I gave it to her, she exploded into excitement. We dabbled with the settings, tested the systems and it was everything that we were shopping for (even better actually). Thank you for an amazing gift.

My only complain is that it said the product was brand new and it showed some scratches on the paint as if it had some prior use. But apart from that I'm very happy with the capability with the design programs I use for architecture considering its also a tablet.

The Surface Book packs some great specs into a laptop, and is still excellent in tablet mode, much lighter as a tablet than laptops using a yoga hinge. The pen is amazing, and I was surprised how useful I found the eraser button. The Performance Base packs a TON of battery, to the point I would use it unplugged all day even if I was near a charger. I tried a couple video games on this, and I was amazed they looked beautiful. If you buy this used be sure it comes with the larger 102W charging block, or it will just won't charge under while it's in use.
