After 4 years + of continuous operation, a fan began to rattle on a 7970, and these were purchased as a replacement. Visually, these fans are identical to the ones they replaced. Physically, the connector has been updated and is located in a slightly different location. However, they install without an issue. In order to replace, the heat sink will be separated from the GPU. Be sure to have new thermal paste to replace the existing. The operating temperature dropped 9 degrees C with the new paste. The original paste was hardened and dried. These replacement fans function as intended. They are quiet and the operating temperature has decreased. They were a good buy, shipped relatively fast, and easy to install.

you get what is in pic works great temps are not very high quieter then the fans that come with the card stock your getting what you pay for new fans never used i have a r9 270x oc 4gb card that the fans went on temps with no load is 32c and with load i may see 65c under very hard load 70-71c still better then what i had before 99c-105c
