I've been using trackballs, specifically the Kensington Expert Mouse, for well over a decade. I love the control I have with it, especially for 3D CG. For games: it's fine for most of them, but there are times when you want a real game controller (which is available for PC). I like the size (I even pop in billiard balls, just for grins and a change, every so often) and like the fact that the footprint is the size of the trackball unit, since it remains stationary. You need to keep it clean. I take mine apart from time to time, and since they are ageing and out of production, I have bought some just for parts. I bought this one as a back-up unit (one of two). I think I'm set for some time. Should I ever run out of spares, it may be time to look at Kensignton's latest revival of the Expert Mouse.Read full review
