this laptop runs good with multiple apps open. as long you don't have 6 or 7 apps open & try to watch a video, cause when you do that the backlight starts to flicker. but lets be honest why would you have that many tabs open & watch a video. I did that to stress test the laptop, to me it passed. for a 17inch laptop its pretty light. when I first powered it up the brightness bottons were not working. I gave it about 10 mins. all the times I pressed the brightness bottons started to take affect, then it settled down. and since then that problem has not happened. the touch pad is pretty good. getting use to having the click bottons & touch pad all in one, wasn't as bad I thought it would be. but if it becomes a problem you can buy a cheap wireless mouse in 2016. in conclusion, for the price & hardware included its a steal. and the seller sold me A1 product. I was scared to buy to do that fact that it is certified refurbished, I was expecting a bunch of " wear & tear " but that wasn't the case.Read full review

Not bad but not great. The processor is comparable to some of the A6's and A8's so don't just buy it for the A10 thinking it's all that and a bag-a-chips. Next, if you're not good with troubleshooting and solving your own pc issues this may not be for you. Read lots of reviews first and you'll see it's plagued with problems that are being experienced by nearly half the owners of this model. If light gamer - ok, hard core gamer - no way! If you're like me and the eyes aint so good anymore then you're probably buying it more for the screen size than anything else but be aware, you don't get much more than that. Very few ports, no key pad illumination, no fingerprint scanner, the mouse pad and left/right buttons are not separated, etc.. Like I said, read lots of reviews and know what you're getting. This pc could be had for 5 bills in the stores new in the box. Used should be priced considerably less.Read full review

I had been shopping around for a fairly decent laptop without breaking my bank. I already have one but it's about 6 years old and needs another battery. So far, this computer is decent, slightly bigger than my other one. It's quiet and the processor is holding up to par with my needs. I do a lot of writing, and I like to take my computer with me wherever I go. The battery life on this particular laptop/computer series has always been outstanding and only gets better. I'm still new to using Windows 10 but the speed of the computer, whether you're streaming videos or playing some games, it's pretty good. It's what a laptop should be, light, easy to use and you can do what you need to without sacrificing power or battery life. I like it a lot, it exceeds my needs in every way for a great price! =)Read full review

I love the big screen. The keyboard is easy to use. My big problem is finding a browser that won't keep crashing on me. I am also having a little problem enlarging the print. The brightness is not quite bright enough either.

The price for the HP Pavilion was superb. The seller sent within a week of my order. Packaged in its original package. very pleased with the product. HP was easy to transfer my files - no instruction booklet to help - but was fairly simple - just time consuming to transfer contacts I use (tested to confirm they were ok).
