With an upgrade to an m650 graphics card and a decent i5 processor, this laptop is plenty powerful for media consumption and playing MMO's like SWTOR on the go. The overall size is compact though this is a thick laptop. Still the keyboard and touchpad are very high quality which is nice considering the last budget laptop I bought new from HP for the same price as a used M14x felt very cheap. I love the custom color schemes for the keyboard and the rubber mat finish used on the body. This is a great mobile media device allowing for easy connectivity to the TV to play recent multiplayer games and consume web based media with out the normal chop of a laptop without a dedicated video card. The only downside to this laptop is I have the version with the low end 1280 x 760 or so screen. Its not the brightest, colors and viewing angle are nothing special and text can be blurred on games like SWTOR because everything is so small. Overall though it is a satisfactory viewing experience and if you can manage to snag one of these laptops for 600 dollars or less it will run circles around any comparably priced laptop.Read full review
then it is well back lite. The SSD is great for not waiting for the harddrive to boot up. The onscreen text could be an issue if your are wearing reading glasses. Have the full install I am still chasing drivers fro the CDROM. It likes my SADE DVD but I have nto learned how to eject the DVD out of the PC with out still looking for the DVD driver from DELL. Spoiled from last 18.4" screen PC

The value was great for the specs in the laptop, brand and use. When I got the laptop, thank God It had a warranty with it, because the screen randomly turned off, some of the lights wouldn't turn on or they would flicker, sometimes in order to turn it on I had to actually press down on the left side of the touchpad. So I sent it in to dell and they put a new motherboard (because it was faulty. Very faulty) and wristcover( where you place your wrist to type on the laptop). After sending it in to dell, I still have a little problem with another light not wanting to turn blue or white. I need my laptop for college right now so I'm going to have to wait for the summer to send it back in.
I'm a DJ that runs Serato. Works gr8
