So long as you realize you aren't buying Sennheiser or Shure level audio, the sound in these is fine. I listen to music over Sennheiser headphones, and these aren't unacceptable when I switch over to games (and need to chat while I play). I would likely have given 5 stars, but the cloth padding around the earcups has yet to "break-in" (been a couple months now) and is still stiff/uncomfortable, seems like its going to stay that way.

The sound quality on this headset is phenomenal. They're actually very loud, when i'm not wearing them and I have the volume on full they act as mini speakers. The build quality is nice and stury, they don't feel flimsy or cheap. The set is actually quite heavy. The cord has that nice braded protection, it's super long which shouldn't be a problem with reach for most people. After a while they do feel on the heavy side, but never so much that it's impossible to keep wearing them. They were the best bang for my buck after doing all my research.

Was looking for a decent headset for gaming and got a great pair for an even better price. They didn't come in a box or anything but who needs that crap you just throw out anyways? They were brand new and worked perfectly! I would highly suggest these.

Another great gaming headset from Logitech. It has removable ear cuffs for cleaning and a fully adjustable microphone for almost any angle. The cable is extremely long; about 10 feet long and will reach the back of any desktop with ease. Highly recommend.

While it will depend on what audio device you're using to power these, they have Rich bass pretty clear highs on my onboard Realtek audio driver
