I bought this for the tablet experience. It is a great little system for the money. I really like the 8megapixel camera in the back. It is very sharp and easy to take pics with. I do not know Android at this time very well, so this has been a challenge. I am a little disappointed that I cannot install Windows on it. I am quite proficient with Windows. I still have not figured out how to add Windows applications, but I do understand that this is possible. Even with all that, I am happy with the purchase. It is making me learn something new which is good for exercising the brain. With the keyboard dock, the battery life is incredible. That is something that I really like. All in all, I love this little system, I just need more time with it to fully understand and appreciate its capabilities.Read full review
The speed, performance and ease of use are excellent. Upgrading to Jelly Bean... SIMPLE. Ordered the GPS expander free from ASUS with no issues and NO cost. Been so easy to teach the spouse how to use because she has an android phone and very happy to not have to learn yet another OS! Quality, sound, picture and speed all living up to excellent reviews. So glad I did not have to purchase an Ipad to get this kind of quality.
I bought the prime because the price was right and I like the portability. It is basically a high tech toy, and that's exactly what I wanted. It crashed several times when I got it, but after downloading updates, it has not crashed once. Finally getting use to the droid system, but I prefer windows system. The touch screen is the best part. Brightness control is great and the settings options give you a variety of choices. The battery life is good and after the first few complete charges, it recharges very fast. I use it mostly for games, but it works for browsing, email, and just about everything else my laptop can do.
Some mounths ago i bought the Asus Prime Transformer TF201 32GB. It has been a joy from day one using souch a brilliant electronic product. How fast it respond i amazing, surfing, streaming and its use has all been a joy. And i would say it userfreidnly with the Android than a Ipad with its Itunes and restricts of use. If i got some free money to buy myself a second one it would still be the Asus :)
I truly enjoy this item. It is light weight, great graphics, the two cameras are a neat feature. Lots of apps to choose from. The optional keyboard brings this up to a laptop in my oppinion with tons of flexibility!
