These are great for long listening sessions. They are smooth and energetic. With some comfort modifications I found I could wear them all night without any issues. Specifically, I added a ZMF Pilot Pad to the comfort strap and Dekoniaudio Elite Suede earpads. I've read and seen many videos that say opening the backs up improve the sound tenfold. I am going to do that once the grilles I ordered from Armattan Productions come in. I feel like I've finally found a headphone that I can settle with and be happy about. I was surprised at how nice the stock cable was as well. It isn't janky and feels nice. I did order a balanced cable from Hart Audio Cables, though. The case that came with it is also nice although it's huge. I only docked one star because I feel the modifications for comfort are neccessary. All in all it's a good audio investment and I feel like it's a step up from entry level audiophile headphones I've owned in the past. Read full review

Fostex T-X0 was my first planar headphones. The first impression was about the bass. It was completely different from the dynamic headphones as they were clear and tight bass without affecting mids and highs. But with M1060C all frequencies just comes alive and although they are not on the warm side they have powerful and clear lows, mids and highs. All frequencies and just fantastic and also sounds very wide and natural sound stage. Highly recommended.

Heavy and awkward to handle by decent sound. I think I like the open back 1060's better but for $250 a solid choice. Everything Monoprice makes is pretty good. My M570 headphones are among my favorites. Great value for around $300. Not too big or heavy, great build.
