My son loves mine craft & the play swords & things they make for pretend play. Usually they're made out of a thick foam, are just as expensive but because it's all foam never usually lasts for very long. But this one has a sturdy thick hard plastic casing over the foam part so I don't think this one will tear up as easy as the others! And it's super simple, you just pull up on the top to make it a sword & it locks in place or you give it a good push back down to make it the pic axe. I for see this being a huge hit for his bday, & actually worth what I paid compared to the other mind craft swords!
