I have been using these for years. This one was a replacement for one I used for the last two years.

Camera is decent picture if held still, but is not easily wearable if that is what you are trying to do. Mounting options are limited a less you are going to make your own mount for the camera. Picture is nice in good light but terrible in low light. I personally don't see being able to use this for any of the ideas i had before buying.

I have had two PRO this is my first ATOM I like the changes made to the button layout and that they improved the pixelation from 3 to 5 but the battery life needs to be attended to and they did nothing about improving the card reader so you can use a larger SD card than a 8GB. The PRO had a eyelet on the body that was good for hanging the camera around your neck that was removed from this model that I missed greatly. These cameras are designed to save footage every 30 minutes and continue recording the PRO versions I had did this perfectly but with this one sometimes it will just stop, not continue recording when it saves the footage at the 30 minute mark? After having this for a while I would say this model was a waste the battery and SD card issue should have been addressed along with the upgrade to the pixelation.Read full review
As a GoPro Hero owner, I set my standards too high for the Veho Muvi. It shoots at 640x480 @30fpm which is great if the unit is not moving too quickly or being subjected to a lot of vibration. I used it on my mou gain bike and was not overly impressed. It was prone to overexposure in bright sunlight but actually does really well indoors. I do like the size and some of the features are nice. It feels well made and has a rigid metal shell that could probably take some abuse. Overall, it is a decent small camera in the under $100 category. If you are looking for something a little higher quality, look at the GoPro HD Hero. You will spend a little more but will be pleased with the quality.
The build quality seems high, the battery life is never a problem, once you turn it on its ready to record videos in like 2 seconds. With that said, the over all painting and color scheme of the device seems a bit cheap. I put it in my pocket with some change and next thing you know it got scratched up, all in the first week. Video quality is good, I read somewhere that this muvi takes photo, if thats what you intend to do then dont by this. This is for video recording only. The 2gb card it comes with is enough, an 8gb card is not necessary. The card provided will give you 1 hour and 30 minutes of recording time.
