I ordered two of this card for testing with a FreeNAS server. The card works great but need a fresh installation when swapping with the SAS 9211-8i card. The performance is about the same comparing with the SAS 9211-8i card on a Dell PowerEdge T30 server with 4 WD NAS hard drives and a SSD. I was a little bit disappointed but this is probably due to speed limit on the SATA drive interface and the SATA drives.
