This came with my Dell Dimension 4500 running Windows XP back in 2002. Loved it then, love it now. The main reason I wanted it was for the PictureIt software. It's easy to use and has a lot of features that other software just doesn't have. If it has them, they are difficult to figure out and use. My previous disk was too scratched to reinstall after my upgrade, so bought a new set. It's technically incompatible with Windows 7, which is what I upgraded to from XP. Using a few "work-around" techniques, I am able to continue using PictureIt on Windows 7. You need to save your original photo as something else because the "save as" feature doesn't work, just the "save" works. Using "save" will overwrite your original photo. If you don't care about keeping your original in tact, then it doesn't matter. In order to open a photo into the software, you need to right click on the photo you renamed and would like to work with and use the "open with" feature to work with your photo. Opening the program first and attempting to choose a file from your computer will give you an error and tell you the program needs to close. Like I said, it's not really compatible, but there are work-arounds. I like the software enough to deal with it.Read full review
