ok so its just a hunk of plastic and metal, pieced together to form something incredible. A miniature super computer that you put into your existing pc to give it superhero abilities like mining bitcoin or using virtual reality or rendering huge image files much faster. people dismiss the technology as unnecessary because they dont know about what it does or the benefits of PC gaming over console gaming.

This 1070 mini performs just as well as it's full size brother. Don' think it will do less or have cooling issues. I use it to mine crypto when not gaming and it works great. No issues at all.

I really had my heart set on for the GTX 1080, but with the cards overpriced at the time and $200 difference between that and the 1070. This SC series was worth getting. Sleek look/design and great fan cooling alone. Very quiet under heavy load and is capable to max out most of my games with my new i7-8700k build. I guess for an example, I was able to play PUBG at ULTRA HIGH with little lag but it performs best under HIGH. A MUST BUY IF AVAILABLE AT $400 or LESS!!! (For the next few years)

Moved from an over priced XFX R9 295X2 Hydra addition at $1500.00 ( WASTE OF $$) with over rated performance and nothing but problems as well as a broken fan blade after the warranty expired. This used card (Asus GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX OC 8GB GDDR5) I just got makes the R9 look like childs play. Enough said!
