The physical condition was excellent. I was disappointed that it would not run the latest OS, but what it does it does well.

I have been a Windows/PC Dual booter for awhile. However I got tired of lugging, and I do mean lugging my HP 17" around. It was more a portable desktop than a notebook. This on the other hand is light, half the weight, fast, has dedicated video memory for better video game performance and is quite nice. I have mine dual booted Mac OS X Leopard/Win XP using bootcamp, and it rocks. :-) You could also triple boot using rEFIt and run Linux or Windows 7.
Being that I have started my shift to using Apple entirely through my home. I am very pleased with this Macbook, and have not a single complaint. If I had it to do all over again, I would've bought into the apple franchise much sooner. Being able to multi-task flawlessly between open programs is alot easier on an Apple. Learning the in's & out's of the machine are different but its like other piece of machinery you have to learn it. This one is unable to be updated to the latest OS which is a down side but I don't really notice it when I'm working on it.
Works likes its brand new but runs through the battery life pretty quickly which isn't much of a problem. It tends to get really heated after a short while of use but that's still not much of a problem. Its very useful and runs smoothly but the only real problem is the mobileme but that's an issue I'll figure out while using the macbook some more.
Cosmetically great for the age, a good clean and it’s great now
