Our family has purchased four (4) of these very inexpensive replacement laptop batteries from laptopz-outlet on eBay. Three (3) of them are in daily use and the 4th one was just purchased and is In Transit to us. Considering what a new OEM (Dell) battery costs, I believe these are an excellent and very low cost alternative. The time my E6400 can run on the battery, surfing the web and running the anti virus scan (hard drive activity) on all files is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, while connected to Ethernet. Not bad for an inexpensive 6 cell battery, IMHO. Note: I have also purchased two (2) AC Adapters for our Dell Latitude laptops from laptopz-outlet.

I bought this battery THINKING it was a real replacement for my Dell Latitude E6410. I noticed it was depleting power unusually fast, so I decided to time its endurance.I charged it for several hours reaching 100%. When I unplugged from the charger I was simply surfing the web, few keystrokes, using Google Chrome, NO downloads. From the time I unplugged the charger until my PC warned (@ 5%) to plug in the charger was 18 minutes 59.55 seconds. That is a THIRD of the time my OLD battery was giving me. So, NO, I would not recommend this product. Frankly, my opinion is this battery is worthless, don't waste your money.

The new battery showed up in a couple days and was in excellent shape. I wasn't sure about removing the old battery as I couldn't see where it was attached. So I waited the couple days and just looked when the new battery came in. It was obvious where the clips were, and I had the new one in, in about a minute. The battery was mostly charged when received, and finished up charging shortly (like a couple minutes), and with a new transformer the new battery is holding up well! I would recommend this unit unconditionally.
