I own an anet a8, and flsun kossel delta mini, have built them both, and the 4max anycubic instructions manual takes you step by step to build it with the others i had to have my laptop and youtube checking some things that were not very clear on the instructions. The enclosure lets you work with abs without trouble. The cable management is a delight because you don't have to wrap anything to make it look neat. The only thing i'd change in this printer is the spoolholder, it seats half of the spool on the rear so you have to give it some space between the printer and wall, but you can print another one which will make you save some space.

Out of the box I noticed that when using Cura when you import a STL file and center it, when you go to print the file it is located about 40 mm left of center, I notified tech support 2/28/20, and as of 3/2/20 have not received any response. 3D printing is still a tinkers toy in the budget printers, and as long as you are aware of that you will enjoy it. I have used the Mega S for a few months and have been busy making several projects with it, but printing with ABS on it is a challenge which brought me to using the 4max pro.

I got one second hand brand new just the box open. Get it together was easy and the instructions were helpful (but take your time and do it right) initial setup was easy, and the default profile in the slicer for it is good, do a good bed leveling adjustments and u are good to go. I like the idea of the semi enclosed and help on printing abs, nylon and other exotic filaments( will be better to come with a top cover cover but it works). User interface standards ,but still some extra settings exposed on the menus. The ultrabase works really good , just wait to cold down and part pup by it self. Maybe it's not the best looking machine out there , but give a good feeling solid printer. Worth the money.

Great printer for a great price. Requires some mechanical aptitude in order to put together, but provides ample opportunity and knowledge building for modding. The filament that was shipped with the printer was brittle and unable to produce decent prints and there was a broken wire on the barrel connector, but those are small annoyances compared to how good this printer is.

My first printer... Was fun building it myself and seeing how all the parts work together. So far it's worked great! I've made lots of things and the glass heated bed has kept everything stuck to it while printing...
