It's a good reader especially for the good price I got it for. This is my first experience with a reader so I don't have much to compare it too. It doesn't surf the web or have any other applications but as a reader. It took a little research to figure out all the ins and outs, but I am ok with that since saving money is my primary concern. If you do a little internet research you'll also find there are ways to convert kindle, nook, etc. files to be read on the lookbook as well. So all in all this has been a great purchase and I am very happy with it.
I enjoy the reader once I was able to get all the info loaded that it needed for me to be able to use. the buttons are small & you really need something like a pencil with an eraser to push them. I had to load the information several times before it held but it's working fine now. the battery life is not as long as alot of the readers but if you watch & plug it in your ok. The free books that come with it are the old classics, I found that not interesting at all, the other free books that were to come with it, couldn't find at all, but am able to get free books from kobo as suggested, as well as library, I think others are probably easier to program & use but for the money it's pretty good
From the moment I got it, the charger wouldn't fully charge the battery and the battery life sucked once it did charge. It's a great value for your money, but its just complete suckage! Don't waste your time, pay a little more money and get that sense of security. I was one of three in my household to purchase one, and 2 out of us three hand problems with it right away, upon opening the box!
it a great ereader small and easy to load ebooks . brought this ereader because the one i had the screen broke and the company said they couldn't fix it - upset about that but i needed a reader so got this one..
