All functions operate well within the specs of the scale. the Tare function is a bit slow to react, but accurate when tested against known sample weights. I would have like a 'zero' function to return the scale to a null state. I'm very pleased with the value & quality of the scale; serves my needs flawlessly.

This scale is not good nor totally bad... I would suggest that it was just mediocre at best. Functions all work as they should and I still use it, but I wouldn't say it's exactly precise and how it measures. I've noticed that when an object is sitting on the scale for a period of time the number climbs gradually. I haven't tested it with official scale weights so I'm not sure if it's climbing to its real number or if it's climbing away from its real number or if it's really horribly inaccurate in the first place. Happy with the scale. For the price, it is a nice size and accurate. Although I chose this scale because it had a cord and wall adapter. I am not able to use it though, because the cord is only 2ft long. Can't reach a desk or tabletop.

Extreme value for the price. In fact after I bought our first one, I just bought a second. Calibrated with 100gr weight, result was 100.00gr. Cant get better than that without a Metler. Very very good value, fast turn-around.
