Another reviewer said that if you want good volume and sound quality on a speaker phone, get a business phone. This one definitely does the job - best speaker phone I have ever used, and the regular handset works great too. Very easy to set up "extension" phones without running any wires. Makes me very happy that they broke up Ma Bell's monopoly and let people create great products like this.

This is the second RCA phone set I am using at the restaurant. I am on my fourth set and second RCA. I do not know about longevity on any business phone set but this RCA works well in general.
