Okay this product is good. The pickup is fine and it's a great amount of fun. BUT: The fret work is terrible. Really. They stick out of the neck, and it feels like playing with sandpaper on your fingers. Terrible rash after half an hour of playing, still has not worn off. Also the action is really bad and the second fret is buzzing like crazy on mine. I need to get that fixed, but I hoped to get it working right off the box as I am travelling a lot and don't have time to take care of my guitars (which is why I took this one). Overall if the item and the object is really fun and smart and cool (you really get that "cool" factor when playing live and people notice and start laughing at your baby-sized guitar. Also includes a "cute" factor for those who are into that.) But the quality is really poor and needs quite a bit of work to be really useful without cutting your hand. Also a mild annoyance, but the headstock is not blue. I selected this one because the picture showed a blue headstock and it looked cooler than the black one. I got the black one. Minor annoyance, still an annoyance. I would not make this choice again I think, or be prepared to go to the guitar store and invest an additional 100 dollars in fret work and proper setting.Read full review

The finish is very nice. The c-shaped neck is actually fairly thick, which I like because I have large hands. It doesn't really stay in tune, I have to keep tuning constantly while I'm playing, but you won't find a replacement for the tuners because of the size of the headstock. The bag has no padding, so if you intend to use it you really need to add some padding, though if I were going on a plane with this I would unbolt the neck, put both pieces in a suitcase and surround them with clothes. There's really no place to anchor your picking hand and without anchoring your hand somewhere, you can't balance it sitting down. That said, if you add a raised foam pad somewhere then that helps a lot. The knobs are too close to the pickup, I turn them constantly without wanting to. The pickup is just okay, it has too much treble and the sound is very muddy, if you want to use this for anything more than solo practice you really need to replace the pickup or even try adding a neck pickup which would add to the cost. I did enjoy playing this guitar for an hour, but having to retune constantly kept getting on my nerves.Read full review

I would highly recommend this guitar. Good action, sound and feel. Neck is solid but may be a little narrow for anyone with thick fingers (not a problem for me). Easy to carry and fits into overhead storage on plane without risk of damage.
