Due to the winter season I have not been on the bike with the Bont's but in the land of bike shoes I believe these will be the best option I have. They are nice looking and appear very well made. Comfortable fit made better with the heat molding option. While I do not have a high volume wide foot I need a shoe with a wide ball and toe section to alleviate any pressure to the sides of my feet. I wear Keens and Altras in non-cycling shoes. These are the closest bike shoes to a more natural foot shape that I have found. The toe box in wider and roomier, as is the ball of the foot, than any other bike shoe I have worn, including the wide version of Lakes which are a much less subtle material and taper at the toe. As indicated in many reviews the Bont sizing system and their recommendation would have lead to a shoe that was much to small. Most reviews I read recommended ordering a half to full size larger than other brands. I wore a 46 wide in Lake and ordered a 47 wide Bont, figuring that I could take up any slack with some padding. The 47 was a good choice, no extra padding needed as the shape of the shoe is spot on. They do have enough volume to add some insole cushion should I choose. Though I can't give a ride report I'm pretty impressed with the initial fit.Read full review

The first shoes I've used that fit well and had enough room in the toe box to avoid Hot Foot
