The product comes in two pieces. The angled fore grip, and the thumb "hook." Both parts are VERY light. I don't need a bunch of extra weight on my AR, so this is great. When properly fitted to the AR, near the end of the fore stock, they give exceptional control over the muzzle during firing. The angled grip goes on the bottom of course, and the thumb hook goes on the side.. You clinch your hand with your fingers pulling back on the angled grip and your thumb pulling forward. It gives you a rock solid hold on your weapon.. I believe in standardization of grips and controls, so I have this set up on all my AR's, from the shortest pistol to the longest riffle. Four if you are counting. At the price of around $10, I have given a couple away to fellow shooters.

Item shipped fast and looks good as in the picture. However it would not slide onto a picatinny rail on an AR. Thank goodness for dremel power tools or it would have been useless to me. Required lengthy modification to shave and trim the inner portion to allow grip to slide on as it should. Also had to trim and cut out a portion to align the bolt and nut. Inner molding did not allow the bolt to fit from 1 side to the other to secure to the gun. Looks good now but was not happy with all the extra time and work to get this to work as it should.

Like the other reviewers, I had to file mine to fit. This would not seem like a big deal, but you must also elongate the hole for the bolt. This leaves the nut off center. But, with some monkeying around (it is plastic after all) it fits nicely and is comfortable.

Very ergonomic and the thumb lock makes it even better, the only issue I had with this was on the foregrip, I had to take a dremel tool to it because it wouldn't slide on to the rail fully, because the plastic was to thick toward the front, but no big deal and totally with it!

I believe 7 days from Dallas to Corpus is a bit of a long time. It was a tight enough fit to have to hammer it in covered with a towel, but overall I'm satisfied with it. It seems of sturdy material and rather light. The price is very reasonable. Can't wait to need another.
