This is basically an ordinary laser bore-sight unit, except that it emits flashes (1/100th second) rather than a steady beam. The flash is easily triggered by snapping the hammer of even the smallest gun. It will often flash when you manually cock the hammer. If there were a button to emit a solid beam, it would be the best of both laser worlds. And if they would size it to fit .32 caliber bores (7.6 mm), it would be handier still. Easy to adjust and use; works as advertised.

Laser training is the future of firearms, train with your firearm in a safe and affordable way, almost anywhere or anytime. Practice draw and fire, which many ranges don't allow. When used with smokeless range or other software, you can make training drills fun and interactive.

This is a good price for this. When I got mine a couple years ago, I paid almost double this price. That said, I believe using it fairly often has really improved my shooting. One thing to keep in mind, even though this has an on/off switch, I found my batteries last much longer if I remove them when I'm done. Many complain that these devices won't train you to manage recoil. And that is true. But these devices will show you more about trigger control and steadiness than live ammo will. A perfect shot with one of these will only show you a red dot that shows up and is gone quickly. If you see any side to side or circular streaking ( anything other than just a stationary red dot ) when you fire, your trigger control is the culprit. You can't get that kind of easy feedback with live ammo.

My Shooting buddies and I have purchased several and the targets to go with them. They are great for practice and a load of fun to use.

It works great and would have given 5 stars if it didn't show a dot when the trigger returns on my S&W revolvers. Seems to work fine on single and double action pistols but several times it showed 2 dots per trigger pull on my revolvers. I also have a cartridge type laser that shoots 1" high and to the right with no way to zero it I recommend the LaserLyte prem. Buy spare batteries they only last about 1 1/2 hours of heavy use.
