Great Product
The cons are the fact that these are needed for the early GEN 5 Glocks due to the silly magazine well cut out! They never should have done it because it cuts your little finger when you fire the gun. The other con is that the late model GEN 5 Glocks don't have this silly cut out in the magazine well so the plug is not needed on the magazine base. In all reality these Pearce magazine bases are great and really add a little extra grip on the handle due to the flare. Pearce Grip does it again!
This is the second Glock I have utilized a Pearce Grip solution on and like the first this one was just what I needed. I recently made the switch to a gen 5 Glock 19. Overall I like the platform but I found the "cut out" at the base of the magazine well to be really annoying. The Pearce Grip covers that perfectly and the extension gives my pinky finger just enough extra space to make the grip perfect. 5/5 stars as usual!This is the second Glock I have utilized a Pearce Grip solution on and like the first this one was just what I needed. Excellent product, I now have bought a total of 5. It gives my pinky finger a solid rest on my grip. There is a trick to easily removing and installing grip. Take a small C- clamp and slowly apply pressure just under the existing plate. Then push the pin in with an Allen wrench, adjusting clamp pressure, then sliding off plate, keep your thumb pressure on at all times. Then slide new plate on, release clamp.
