If you have a speed dial you will have to use the crank on the left side of the crossbow. With the HHA optimizer I had to order the extension parts so it would clear the dial, other than that I was quite happy with the cocking device.

Item does make cocking crossbow easier when it works. There is too much friction buildup when the sting passes over the back of the housing, also there is too much slop where the item fits into the stock causing item to sway back and forth as you crank to cock the bow. The crank has a tendency to slip out of the item because of the movement of the item as you crank.

Product is good, would got one sooner if someone would of put a picture of it installed on a crossbow. Had to go to sasport is see a picture.

With a it of modification the device works well; the reason I wouldn't recommend it is because the item should have a warning about the use; if not careful the crank will eject itself under pressure as it did to me, with potential devastating bodily damage.
