It will definitely protect your strings and make them last longer might make frustrating it self last longer probably make the arrows fly a little faster and lube we can they track of a crossbow definitely might increase the speed is a little bit but you can tell by looming the string every five shots like it suggests will definitely help the life of the strings on the crossbow the track those increases speed slightly also. This review is for a crossbow pistol but I believe it would help crossbows in general. This is just my opinion.

I’ve had my Barnett crossbow 7 years, harvested a deer 6 out of 7 years, and have only used Barnett lube with excellent results. Why change what works! Bow works flawlessly and rail/string wear seems minimal.

The wax holds up very well on my crossbow strings. Goes on easy and covers very well. Works good on the rail as well. I use it every time before I shoot.

after a 100 shots the string looks good . applied lube after every twenty shots or so . lubed the shelf as well where the arrow rides upon . does well for it's intended use , buy extra , shooting the crossbow is addictive , lol .

Since this is my first time owning a crossbow and using crossbow wax I'm not sure if I can compare differences between this product and others out there. I can say it seems awfully soft and greasy to apply to the strings and cables unlike the wax I have used on my compound bows over the years.
