Having lost or broken several normal bolts used as discharge bolts for my crossbow I decided to try this. It works, cant bury deep with the flange in front, bright yellow color makes it easy to find should is not stick. It is very sturdy and I expect that treated properly will serve it's purpose for some time.

The product is made of good material and is durable. The only flaw I saw was the nock is a capture design (similar to compound arrows) and not of a half-moon which is more compatible for bolts that have the typical half-moon design. This unintentionally forces the discharge bolt to come out of the seated area which disengages the trigger on my crossbow which has that safety feature. Quick fix....., I shaved the nock to a half-moon design and it works just fine.

I have used it several times. Works great and is easy to retrieve.

This bolt works great, does not enter sandy soil more than about 8 inches here in Fl. No need to carry a discharge bag, or burn up a regular bolt. Worth the price.

My second Parker discharge arrow. My first was very durable until a few hits on loose rocks finally shattered it. This replacement's nock sheared off first shot. I had to drill the rod it then cut it to form a capture nock in the fiberglass. I now shoot it further to loose more energy. Discharging from the treestand is ideal but just another thing to carry so I tend to do it at the car. If you have a high speed bow shoot it further.
