Bought this 6 shell holder for my Maverick 88. Thought I would need to install it using screws but no. Comes with velcro. You will need a pair of sharp scissors. To customize the velcro tape for exact fit and or contouring. Have not shot the shotgun with the holder, hope it works out. Not worried about tape residue on my gun a good solvent should remove it if it does not work out. Good way to go if your shotgun has no holes to install a shell holder.

I am not sure why I thought this was a good idea. The velcro is way over sized and has to be trimmed extensively. This was not mentioned by my seller in their ad at all. The Velcro lasted one trip the range and had peeled off in several spots and on one more then one occasion the carrier pulled away from the receiver. The carrier itself is quality aluminum but the mounting system is preposterous . I am afraid that in the North Florida heat that the velcro will let go and I will have to either carry the carrier in my pocket or worst case scenario I will lose it all together. Plus the adhesive on the back of the velcro left residue on my receiver and had to be stripped off. This stripped the bluing off my gun and I had to re blue my receiver. So in closing, great air soft product. but if you plan to do anything else with this product save your money and get a carrier that bolts through the receiver. Read full review

It’s really only can hold 6 shells for right hand shooters. The mount is attached with velcro, and I assume you could buy double sided 3M to improve on durability. Who are we kidding though, it’s super cheap and the metal quality of the part is great for the price. There is no doubt in my minds the shells will stay in place. Now my tactical shotgun looks like the shotgun John Wick used in chapter 3. Would recommend

Decent product, but I wouldn't recommend it. If it screwed on or had a rail mount then it would be an excellent buy. The glue on velcro is a bad idea. Velcro strips have to be cut, since they're wider than the base of the shell holder, causing a problem with dirt getting stuck to it, making your gun look like garbage. Velcro weakens over time, and removal leaves a nasty residue on the body of the shotgun, also the retaining rings are very tight, making the velcro separate when adding or removing a shell.

This was one of those pleasant surprises,This side saddle is made of heavy duty aluminum attaches to the receiver via industrial grade Velcro and i mean industrial once installed it ain't going anywhere holds the shells well enough...Tip be sure to cut out small section of Velcro where receiver pins are located to make field stripping possible...great product
