Tudor is a Swiss watch house brand associated with Rolex by its manufacture. They have the same founder Hans Wilsdorf and Tudor was formed for the purpose of affordability maintaining the quality of production of its brother brand. In the last three years, Tudor have put their own in-house COSC chronometer 70 hour power reserve movements in new and more traditional older revamped models. Tudor watches will never be in the same realm as Rolex BUT it is not intended to be. The comparison between these two brands in some ways could be similar between Bentley and Rolls Royce at one stage of their history until their had different ownership. Omega and Breitling watches are great mid price Swiss movement watch brands that also have in-house movements, Tudor watches are right along side of them in the same category and could be considered beyond. I chose this Tudor Heritage Black Bay 41 Steel on strap as it amalgamates everything I need and appreciate in Swiss watch I have ever wanted. Here is my grading out of 10 for each category: Trusted brand; 10 Design; 9 Affordability; 8 Performance; 9 Quality; 9 Comfort; 9 Practical; 10 Durable; 10 Aesthetics; 9 Size; 9 = total score 92% being more than I expectedRead full review
