This electric guitar is similar to the classic Jazzmaster series, but the newer-edition Special has hotter pickups, a redesigned Adjusto-Matic bridge, and an impressive floating tailpiece. With the 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and specially designed neck-pocket, it is comfortable to play and suitable for all types of music. If you are passionate about dive bombs, you are sure to appreciate the improved stability provided by the screw-in tremolo arm. This guitar is versatile, stylish, and sonically pleasing.The Classic Player Jazzmaster Special is a six-string electric guitar with a vintage feel but modern adaptations and improvements. It has a solid alder body that comes in a variety of different colors like black, three-tone sunburst, and white with polyurethane finish. It has a gloss-finished rosewood fretboard with a maple neck. It has 21 frets, with a scale length of 25.5 inches. The recommended gauges for the strings are .010, .013, .017, .026, .036, and .046, although it works with other combinations like .011to .056 gauges. It also has Fender vintage-style tuning machines and two vintage-style Jazzmaster single coil pickups, which are specially designed to run hot and loud. The three-position pickup toggle switches between the neck and bridge pickups, or you may access a combination of both. It is equipped with a slide switch that goes from a lead circuit to a rhythm guitar circuit. From here, you control the volume and tone with the two knobs. All of these button combinations lead to incredible sonic diversity.These Mexican-made Fender Jazzmasters have a range of upgraded features from older models. The floating tremolo whammy bar is adjustable, so you can screw it in or leave it out for added instrument versatility. The renovated Adjusto-Matic bridge adds increased sustain to your notes while also making it easy to adjust whenever necessary. The neck is thicker and sturdier as well. Combining these technical improvements with other iconic and vintage Jazzmaster features makes it easy to play these guitars in different ways stylistically, like for rhythm or lead.These vintage/modern hybrid features make the Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster a special guitar that feels and sounds very unique. These electric guitars sound great with any kind of music, like indie-rock, country, blues, jazz, or funk. Their specific tones mesh well with many other instruments like keys, acoustic guitars, or bass. Play them with any number of amps, effects pedals, or other accessories. The stock specifications on these Jazzmasters seldom require additional tuneup or setup. The truss-rod is sturdy and generally does not require adjustment. They are well-suited for practicing at home, playing live, or recording in a studio.
