This Poly product will engrave or scrimshaw very nicely. Just sand it smooth, seal the pores with a good quality wax and use sharp tools. Faux (Imitation) Ivory Whale's Tooth. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. One side of the original was sanded to remove most, but not all of the tooth detail.
