I was never really a Sony person, however, on the suggestion of a YouTuber, I went ahead and got this camera, and they being so affordable at this point, I thought, what have I got to lose? Boy am I glad I got this puppy. It has good image quality, good video capabilities as well (1080p @ 60FPS for the slowmo enthusiast), and you cannot beat that portability factor! Already had a DSLR from another manufacturer, and had quite a collection of lenses for that camera, which were EASILY adaptable to this camera. Definitely recommend this camera for anyone looking to jump to Sony, but you're not completely sure about it, and don't want to drop all that dough on their top of the line cameras, or for any beginner photographer/filmmaker looking for a portable camera that they can take on their travels, that won't call attention to potential international thieves. haha. One drawback, for some, is that this camera does not have an EVF (electronic viewfinder) so you're stuck to taking pictures through the LCD screen. But that wasn't a problem for me.Read full review

An awesome camera full of features, light weight, compact, practical and fun to use. I have had it for almost a month now, i have used it to record sporting events, photograph a wedding and several family get togethers.
This is an awesome little camera. I actually bought this to get different camera angles for videos after already owning one for a few years. My only suggestion is to make sure you buy a lens cap for the front and back too.
