I love the size of the camera, it takes amazing pictures in low light without flash. I already own this same model camera since about 09 but over the years the LED screen has become dull and a bit scratched but I kept the lens perfect so the camera still took great pictures. I wanted a new led screen but It wasn’t cost effective. Lucky me found a basically new “old” camera in the original box with all accessories for about the cost of having the old camera led replaced. The size is perfect for me to take on vacation. I have another newer model SONY camera which is wonderful but too big for me to lug around as a tourist or carry for spur of the moment pics. Most people have moved to taking pics with their phone but I seem to not take decent pictures with a phone. The H20 fits in a small camera bag which can go inside a purse, quick and easy to access, easy to work and take great pictures. Read full review

I have seen some pretty expensive cameras with buttons and functions (up the ying yang) that made your head spin but none of them had the review "EXCELLENT" from CNET and most of the people that bought them. And I really don't want to spend a bunch of money on a camera or one with a 200-300 page manual. But I wanted it to operate and function as the high priced cameras did. This camera had a great write-up and that caught my attention. I wanted a camera that was reasonably priced; took GREAT PICTURES and GREAT VIDEOS; I could hold in my hand that had a nice grip to it; that was SIMPLE to use, EASY to understand and DELIVERED on the manufacturers claims. And this camera did it for me. We buy cameras to take great pictures - that is the point isn't it? I don't buy them for show. In about 10 minutes I was taking great pictures, capturing special moments on the camera - out the box! I quickly flipped through the manual and that was it. In minutes, I captured my son opening the surprise his father bought him. He was doing handstands and flips and he was so happy and I captured it in movie format right then and there. Put it on EASY and IAUTO (Intelligent Auto) snapped a bunch of shots that were flawless! As I looked over the pictures, I was awed they came out so great. The colors were on point, so perfect! Next day I put in the CD ROM and did more study of the manual and found that this camera has functions up the ying yang too! Scene selection, Fix red eye, crop photo to exclude unwanted portions, on manual you can set shutter speed and aperture, etc. I did a slide show with the music I downloaded from my computer - I can go on and on. The pop up flash excites me too because my grandma had one that did the same thing. But it was not high tech and as superb as this camera. This one has so many features it's really a nice one. I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to learn more and go on vacation with this wonderful camera. If you want an Excellent camera for the price, without question this camera is the one to buy. It's simple and easy to use and delivers EXCELLENT pictures and videos. We're very pleased with this camera. If you see one, buy it! It's worth every penny and more.Read full review
I'm planning a 'real' vacation in 2010, and did not want to risk using a film camera, and return home to find that my pictures did not turn out. Digital was the obvious way to go, however I was new to the digital photo world. I'm almost 50, always need my bi-focals, and am by no means a techno-grannie. So I read a lot of camera reviews, and went to a few stores to 'play' with a variety of brands and models before I decided that the Sony CyberShot H2O was the camera I wanted to purchase. Favorite features: It has a 10 x optical zoom for distance/scenery shots, and the 3 inch LCD screen is sweet for viewing. The image stabilization feature was another attractive element as I plan to take pictures on land, air and sea. Best of all the camera really is easy to use. Black Friday sale price was $229.99 in my home town. List priced up to $279 some places, and I got a screaming deal at just under $180! I also found great deals on additional memory, and rechargable lithium batteries from two other on-line sellers. I'm thrilled to have found a great quality camera, and a really great deal. Thanks e-Bay!Read full review
I needed a compact digital camera for an upcoming trip, so I wouldn't be carrying my larger and heavier camera. I had owned a Sony camera before and decided to try the DSC-H20 with its compact size and great features. Although it was an older model, it had the features that I was looking for - optical zoom, anti-shake, etc. I am very happy with the image quality and ease of use.

This Camera Is the best camera I have ever owned or used by far, and this is the second one that I have purchased. It is easy to use. It has almost perfect pictured quality from the Ziess lens and clear HD video that can be zoomed. I blow the pictures up on my 42 HDTV and they look much better than my HDTV programing. What more can you ask for. It is manufactured in Japan, not China. Oh yes I for got to mention this camera is a beast, it is heavy for its compact seize, it has a metal body construction like an old high quality 35mm cameras and this camera works kind of like an old style 35 without the focus light settings or a view finder. But, if you like you can operate it in manual mode and there are plenty of settings for perfecting your pictures. Zoom is 10x but can be doubled with the optional telephoto lens and there is an macro too, although the camera shoots very well macro without the lens because there is a setting for macro shooting and it already has a built in macro lens that works wonderfully. I use it to take close ups of items I am selling. I also use it for family pictures and vacations. I like that the toggle zoom lens encircling the shoot picture button. This is hard to find on any compact camera. It is too bad Sony has discontinued this camera. In my opinion there is not a small camera has this good of quality anymore! It is only 10.1 megapixel, but that is all you need. I like that it dose not cram your hard drive as bad as the newer model 16.2 megapixel cameras do and it's pictures look the same. So scoop up a nice used one, or a remaining new one while you can. You will not be disappointed.Read full review
