This is one of the Worst RTS games ever created. It is 1995 RTS technology being sold to a 21 century gamming generation and only hopes to pass the sloppy graphics and phinicy game play by attaching the name "star wars" to it. The controls are the simple but the animation is choppy and the story line leaves no supprises. I expected a lot more from lucus arts. It is hard to believe that a game as great as starwars battle front and this monstrocity could have been made by the same company. If you are looking for a star wars RTS I would have to recomend Star Wars an empire at war. Not the greatest RTS in the world but next to this pice of crap it is a God send.

What I like about Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is that it is a unique strategy game. It is very cool to see because it is Star Wars. The Cons are that it is an old game and the graphics are not that great. It also has a couple bugs in it I think that rarely kick you off of the game and it's hard to tell why.
Galactic battlegrounds is an awesome game. It's pretty old,so the graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is near perfect. It is similar to starcraft in gameplay with a very original civ pack. I like it!
I have love this product since I friend of mine let me play it back in 2003. We were stationed in Germany, and didn't use to play it a lot, but one day back in 2005 started plaing it again, and now I just can't get enough of it. Love this one particular product, and was not able to ever find it through Lucas Art. Thanks to this guy, I was able to find it on eBay. Thanks.
