Admittedly, I'm not an advanced gamer, but I find some of the clues quite obscure and very hard to find. Some things that you'd think are intuitive are not and other things are almost impossible to figure out. Some solves can be done in random order, others must be specific. I find that frustrating. Maybe if you're experienced with this style of clue-based seek & find game, it seems easy.
You will see reviews comparing this game to others like Myst series. This is nothing like Myst. I finished the whole game in two hours. The puzzles are no challenge at all. There is no video/audio other than the basics (background music, etc.) All the bits that are supposed to make this look like an adventure are text-based. You collect a lot of gems which has nothing to do with the progression of the game (just bonus). This would be an OK game for my four year old provided that the text is read to her. If you are a seasoned puzzle/adventure gamer, you will probably be disappointed. If you don't mind spending your money for a short and very light entertaintment, this will do.
I played part of Dream Chronichles 3, and I wanted to start at the beginning. I bought D.C. 1 and I love it. It has fantastic graphics, a good story, and is engrossing while it lasts. I would have liked to play longer though. The fun was over too soon!
hey i loved the second one so got the first one didnt see first one on sale the graphics were quite nice the game very challenging didnt finish second an bought the next one the hidden objects in game arnt so easy makes it a great game thanx
This Playfirst game is very engaging, has beautiful graphics and my diehard Lego Star Wars sons even enjoyed playing it. It is a welcome change from all of the combat oriented games out there. I really heartedly recommend it.
