Love it! Case was a little worn and disks had fingerprints but runs perfect! I get so much nostalgia playing and it brings me so much joy! Am so happy to get to play this game

Disc 1 has major lags in certain spots. Freezes quite often. Was barely able to finish it. Disc 2 (Claire’s) was unplayable. It freezes in the beginning of the RPD and won’t play. Tried several times to restart it but it won’t work. Wasted my money buying this and now I have to spend more money to find a different copy.

I played this game back in the day, but I wanted to own it now because I'm a hardcore zombie movie fan. The Resident Evil games in general do an excellent job of making you feel like you're playing a Romero type zombie movie. I love the graphics of this game, which even by today's standards are still impressive, as well as the immersive story. I also love the way the game pits you against more than just zombies: in fact, I would say the zombies are the least of your worries in this game. I've seen things in the Resident Evil series in general that, before playing those games, I'd only seen in my worst nightmares. This series is famous for moments that make you jump, and this game is no exception. In fact, it's during those times when it is completely quiet that you feel the most scared and vulnerable, as you know that any moment something indescribably horrifying is going to pop out of somewhere and try to send you home in a bodybag. As far as dislikes, this particular game, even on the easy mode, seems extremely challenging and does not give you much ammo. Low ammo and zombies is a bad combination: it's hard enough facing hordes of the undead with an abundance of ammo, but when you're constantly running out it's nearly impossible. I mean, Bruce Campbell always had enough ammo in his movies, is it too much to ask for us to have enough in this game? Nonetheless, this does add to the tension and make the overall "zombie" gaming experience feel more realistic. Well, that's my review: short and sweet. In summary, the pros are: pretty good graphics (even today), immersive story and game play (to where you feel like you are really there amidst all of these zombies) and a variety of enemies (not just zombies). The cons are that I found it extremely difficult (even on the easy mode) and the designers were way too stingy with the ammo (to where I found myself running out of ammo and then being overwhelmed by hordes of zombies). Nonetheless, if your hardcore about zombies or zombie movies, you'll love this game (and this series, for that matter).Read full review
Haven't played this since it first came out. Brings back some memories. Sure, graphics and game play have improved since then, but at the time this was one of the hottest games around. I still enjoy it!

Hello adventurers old and new. From the engrossing storyline to the awesome action, RE2 delivers in spades. A masterpiece of survival horror. The ambiance, the music of this game; spectacular. And the munsters: zombies, lickers, the tyrant and others; prepare to be scared. Sure, the graphics are not nextgen, and indeed we could use the control Leon Kennedy has in RE4, yet for the qualities mentioned above, remains in my opinion a must have title. Don't miss it.
