I was very excited about this game's release. Months before it came out I was researching the system requirements and was a little concerned that my PC met only the minimum requirements for this game. (My computer is only a little over 1 year old and it was a top of the line dell when we bought it) I downloaded the demo before buying and had trouble running the game even thought the narrative intro ran just fine. I purchased the game anyway and tried it out. So far, no luck running it at all. I will have to buy a new graphics card (probably at least $450) at the very least to get it up and going. The game looks amazing, the graphics and strategy well surpass the previous warhamer game, but I would reccommend trying the free demo before buying the game. I haven't given up yet but I was really disappointed by this delimma.Read full review
MoC is the latest of the continue product line with SoTHR and DarkOmen. Single player game offer nice storyline and encounters alone the map. Most castle siegh are with a time limit so those are the ones that you need to watch out. AI is ok but not posting a great deal of challenge if you knew what you are doing. HARD is hard. player vs player It continue to offer the same great feel of internet war game as in DarkOmen but with lot more units/armies options. You use the same limited points to buy/build your army as does your opponent BEFORE the game start. That is what you have and there is no 'gathering resouce'. MoC continue NOT OFFERING 'player vs computer' single battle option so there is no way to practice your army make up and that is continue to be the reason that this game is only rated Average for me.Read full review
When I first think of buy this game, I thought it is a base-building RTS style like the Warhammer 40,000, but the game is RPG style instead; the player walk through storyline, and each battle, the player fight on limited troops. No base building, so it disappointed me. Overall, the battle is similar to Totalwar saga, which indeed I prefer Totalwar not this game for sure, the only thing that impress me is the graphic and army-paint, which the player can switch the part of the the troops equipment; in another word, a better custom army. I don't like it....that's it.
Guys, this is an amazing game for both Warhammer fans and RTS fans. For the one above who said that it's in the old 40K world, you're wrong. Fantasy came first then Warhammer 40,000. I'm a Warhammer expert. This game covers a lot of the table top aspects. An over all excellent game, my only issue is that it needs a very, very fast computer to run it. But it is still a GREAT buy!
I was disappointed in the lack of in-game options, one player is better than multi-player which is never good in a game, yes i liked it, its fun and plays well, even though it has high system requirements, with a bit of changes the worst computer can play it although.
