An imaginative take on the Action/RPG Dragon's Dogma impresses in scope, control, graphics, sound, and gameplay. It may try to do a little too much though, while innovative, the inclusion of many gameplay elements don't always execute properly around each other. This is easily overlooked but the buyer should beware the menu, map, and equipment screens are inconvenient and the lack of fast travel makes each quest take longer than one would hope playing in a world of this size. The positives far outweigh the negatives though, any fantasy fan should enjoy the setting, customization, and unique Pawn system for party members. It's also great to climb on the big baddies to kill them instead of cutting their ankles to death.
