I love this game with all my heart! It’s one of my absolute favorite games, and with good reason. I loved jumping into this fantasy world as Alsmen Blackwell, the farmer turned knight, and the quest going from a journey away from home to a full blown war. For every Witcher 3 or God Of War or Skyrim or Breath of The Wild out there, there will always be a place in my heart for this game. It got me through some tough years in middle school, and it inspires me to become an artist as an adult. It may not be as polished or graphically impressive as most titles of today, but it’s story and soundtrack make up more than enough for it! If you have a high end computer rig, like a Dell Precision M6700, fitted with Windows XP and an AMD FirePro M6000 graphics card with 2.7 GHz CPU Capability, I highly recommend giving this game from 2006 a try. It’s a fantastic experience! And it’s expansions are just as fantastic. And the community modules from the NeverwinterVault and Nexus Mods are the icing on the cake! There really is an unprecedented amount of replay-ability with this game. Mask Of The Betrayer is one of the most underrated and compelling RPG stories of this generation, and Storm of Zehir is a wonderfully charming Side Story to the main campaign. Overall, this game is awesome! You can get it on GOG as well if you have a high end computer fitted with newer windows software. And you can also buy physical versions for Windows XP, you just need to update the game using The Neverwinter Vault’s archived updates since the game has lost support since the mid 2010’s. (ie, Windows 7 - 10) Read full review

Great game ,,atari gave a very good module builder & pc to server software for NWN 1, in NWN 2 you have more but NOT needed options ..it does kind of get in the way of building...sometimes I wished some companys would not try to TOP themselves...as sometimes the originals are better than anything and ruin thier masterpiece by altering it to make it look like it has more...there are less tile sets in NWN2 also the monsters are harder to edit and the spawners take more script editing..so all in all Please dont break it making it "better" change is not always a good thing..
This is a great sequel to Neverwinter Nights, but like the first game, it has so many technical issues. I can't tell you how many times this game has crashed on me. Fortunately, I managed to fix this problem. Overall, the game has Neverwinter Nights' gameplay and KOTOR 2's influence system. Obsidian's not too bad, the game could use a few improvements.
