Pros: ITS MEGAMAN! Its in 2D! it transforms! what else you want from him? Cons: I still have found none, maybe the voice over in certain cutscenes, but they are a nice addition to the series Review: Well after quite some time I finally got my hands on this game and i can assure you, it has some high potential to be one of those good games of 2006, you play as grey (apparently the main man) and Ashe (female character) the story so far is still unknown (have only played this thing 20 minutes, give me a break) But so far the experience has been great, also played the last game which is awesome and fun, old school plataforming in a next gen plataform (DS) Why I bought it? because I like megaman, and because I liked ZX (takes off about 1 century after megaman zero) Final though: Nice and enjoyable game, please enjoy it as much as i did, is worth to be boughtRead full review
As a big Mega Man fan ive played threw all its main tittles (Classix,X and Zero) but when I read a bit up ZX story I was a bit dissapointed that Zero and X weren't the main characters instead you use two new characters and they acquire armors called Biometals which allow them to transform into similar versions of our favorite reploids that said you start with Biometal A, which is cool cause its ability is to shapeshift into previously fought bosses....now I wonder what that ''A'' stands for *wink*. Gameplay is the same since MMX. Dash,Jump and Shoot which it never gets old not the level selecting is a lot different from previous MM games here you walk around different areas on your discretion instead of selecting a stage, so it feels sorta free-ish, but one tends to wonder into areas where your not ready yet. In my opinion its a great game, but for those who are really overprotective with the Mega Man its not really for you...but this is my opinionRead full review
I bought this game after playing and loving the Megaman Zero series and Megaman ZX. I was initially pretty sceptical, especially as I thought Megaman ZX had a few problems such as a terrible map and the alternative play styles (Models H,F,P,L) were so inferior to the standard style (Model ZX). This game solves both problems and generally has a better atmosphere. The map is simpler and works a little more like choosing a mission than in ZX, while still having the freedom to explore. There are loads of new play styles, although many are more like an ability (such as flight, burn, swim, crush) the models from the previous game have all been improved. You can play as models A, ZX, H, P, F, L completely on preference and are all suitable for fighting bosses. They all have extra moves, the weapon gauge charges over time quite quickly so specially attacks can be used very frequently and they don't feel so inferior to model ZX any more. The backgrounds look great too. There are loads of sub-quests and boss challenges that can be ignored or completed depending on whether you want story or challenges. I give this 5 stars as a big fan of the Megaman zero series. It is a very modern take on 2D platform games and works very nicely. The problems with the first ZX game have been fixed and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it. If you don't like the megaman x, zero, zx series, don't expect this to be much different.Read full review
Really great successor to original ZX and Zero series. Keeps basic gameplay of previous games, but has several new interesting features, as well as metroidvania-styled exploration.

Great game! The game is challenging, and the gameplay is lots of fun. For those seeking a more casual experience, there is a beginner mode. The one flaw that sticks out however, is the voice acting and low quality cut-scenes. The voice acting is hilariously bad, and as for the cutscenes well go watch any youtube video in 240p. The scenery during actual gameplay is fine though.
