This DVD gives a long-awaited movie about the production of the atomic bomb. It is engaging and describes the history making moment in history in human terms. Having met Gen Tibbits a few years ago, II had tried for some time to get this movie made in the 40s. It is fascinating to see all the areas and production problems, leading up to the New Mexico test site. As a reminder of the lives saved, vs those lost, I have a model of the Enola Gay on a shelf, next to this film, and a photo of Tibbits and me talking. Well worth viewing for anyone who is interest in history, or just a well acted drama.

Done a in a documentary style but lot of dramatic moments. Saw this when I was young, never saw it again. But I heard it did play on TCM one night. It has to do about the first atom bomb being developed and deployed. Looking at the cover of the box, you would think it was a horror movie.
