Repulsion its one of the best pshycological/horror Films ever made and for that reason the people of Criterion treat this realease with the maximum sense of care. The blu ray picture quality of Repulsion is wonderful, I could not believe that a so old film could look so well, details are very clear, the intensity of black and white is hypnotic, of the vast collection of blu ray I own, i choose this one like my favorite, you will not regret. The audio is perfect too, the dialogues are very clear, no white sounds or his, or pops, or anything, it is and excellent remaster track. The extras are also spectacular, contains two documentaries, very interesting, great for fans like me. If you have recently entered the world of blu ray and you are a fan of Roman Polanski and Catherine Deneuve, this blu ray will make sure worth the money invested.Read full review

This is another fine release of a great film. The Criterion Collection has yet again hit the nail on the head with this release. The technical quality of the film is spectacular and the special features enhance the whole experience of "Repulsion." The documentary of the behind the scenes and making of this movie are great and they give insight into the creative minds that produced this great film.

I've owned this movie in Beta and Laserdisc (Criterion also). The Blu-Ray edition is fantastic ! My teenaged daughter, who'd never seen this film, commented on the clarity of image and sound, and of course, she found the film quite disturbing :-). But she (like me) is already a big fan of Polanski, so now I must endeavour to find a good print of What?
