Our washer was getting F1 errors right after starting a load as well as during the rinse cycle. Replaced the control board with this one and errors have been eliminated. This was rather easy to replace - 3 screws to loosen the control panel, flip it forward, disconnect the air hose & wiring harnesses from old control board, remove a couple more screws, installed new control board reversing the steps.

No I would not recommend this item . It’s still defective, comes up with an error (OL) after the spin cycle ends that makes the clothes still too wet to go to the dryer.

F1 error code is gone! So far, so good.....and for a very decent price. Hopefully this lasts so I don't have to dish out $$ for a new washing machine. This is a common problem code for this model type Whirlpool washing machine. I don't know if it was a glitch with the old control board, or that moisture got into the old one.....hopefully this is the end to the F1 error code.

This control board was easy to install. It resolved the error codes that were coming up every time that I would use the washer. The price was better than the prices quoted by the appliance parts retailer in town and on the internet. The control board was exactly the same as the one in the washer.

Installed this module in my 15 year old washer which began shutting down with a fault code 68, water level sensor out of range. The sensor is built into the module on this model washer. New part cost was 3/4 of the price of a new washer! Found this part at 1/3 the expense and saved my otherwise operational machine from an untimely death. Thanks for the help!
