I am an RT whom has been scanning for 9 years. This book was a complete waste of money. I bought it years ago when I first began learning CT. Once I got my footing, I realized that this book was not only unorganized, but that it offers little or no information for someone wanting to LEARN. For example, there are contrast studies on the same page as non-contrast studies, they do not give an adequate review of the anatomy, they do not describe what part of the brain you are looking at (i.e. lobe or sinuses are affected), it is not described whether or not such injuries are acute or chronic, traumatic or pathological . This book is not worth more than something for looking at pretty pictures. It was a complete rip-off, and I hope I can save someone else the trouble. What is one to do? I borrowed a resident's text book on Neuroradiology, and found it was just what I needed for getting a handle on what I was looking at. Good luck, fellow RT's!Read full review
