To have a rocker 30 and a celestion 30 you can carry in one arm via the top handle and a guitar in the other hand..simple, convenient, small venue compatable and then there is the gain thing..I never initially play pedals thru a new purchased amp..until I am familiar with the raw sound..this 30 watt is more like a 50 watt with the tube configuration and I got to tell you..this amp will put a grin on the cleanest of players or the guy that sets the gain to 10! Versatile, clean, loud, soft, this amp has it all and nearly does it all..I think I will have this amp in my collection to infinity and beyond~ John Jouett Music
OK, I have/do own many amps. I play them all frequently. I am comparing this to the likes of Marshall Silver Jubilee, Budda Superdrive 18, Sovtek Mig 50, and a Marshall Artist 3203. All of these amps are great but in all of these amps I found the exact distortion I expected to find. In the Orange Rocker 30 I found so much more its hard to put it to words. I am able to hit a gig and not sound like every other wanker around-thats worth a lot. I get comments all the time about how unique my sound is.... guitar players always ask how I get such a fat distortion and such a creamy clean out of one amp. They usually try to link it to a pedal on my board or something but theyre looking in the wrong place. Well guys, if someone is selling one of these babies BUY IT! Mine will never leave my possession, its just that good.Read full review
This is a really great British amplifier in the Orange tradition. The Normal channel is simple - just a volume control - so it's a great platform for pedals. The Dirty channel goes anywhere from light grunge to full-on rage - a real kick to play through!

The amp looks and sounds fantastic. Great tone, great everything. This little 1 x 12 is all I've ever need. Thanks again!
