The BlueRay audio and video quality is stunning. What else is there to say about that? This also came with the digital and UltraViolet copies. I have heard people complain about the UltraViolet and/or the digital copies, and I don't understand. They are great and serve different purposes. I downloaded the digital copies to iTunes. If you want 1080p HD (not 720p HD), go to iTunes preferences and make sure you choose 1080p. The UltraViolet version will be handy when I am out and about, and want to watch on my iPad or computer, without my needing to have it loaded onto my device. Love this series!

The full spectrum of the beauty, treachery and courage of humanity is present in a very real, brutal world. Few fantasy epics have been able to reach such heights of emotion and excitement. Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy is the only comparable epic fantasy. If you enjoyed The Two Towers and Return of the King, this series reaches beyond even those. I didn't watch the Game of Thrones series when it first came out because I heard that it was very violent and I don't like to watch gratuitous violence. However, even though there is a lot of violence,the characters are very engaging and the story is so intriguing that it is well worth watching. The sets and costumes add to the authenticity of the show and make me feel as though I'm living the story right along with the characters.
