LOVE: -Different difficulty levels, which are clearly tndicated -Picture samples of all finished projects -beautiful, creative designs -perfect for beginners, for practice, or for the novice soap maker -shows how to combine other ingredients so soaps are not all transparent this is exactly what i was looking for, especially since all other soaps are made from scratch using lye - i don't want to bother with that. also, these soaps cure in an average of 30 minutes, not 2-8 weeks like other soaps require. glycerin blocks are easily attainable from local craft stores, and you can buy in discounted bulk on ebay. glycerin is also a soap preservative, so it will last longer, among its other countless positive charesteristics. Plus, if you don't like your finished work you can always re-melt it and start again!Read full review
I really like this little book. If you are just getting started with melt and pour (MP) soap this book will give you some great tips and ideas. If you are already familiar with MP then you can use some of the recipes.

This book is sooo helpful. It is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It has different types of recipes for soap making and very easy to follow instructions and pictures on how to make soap products from different bases. I am really satisfied with it. For a used book it is in extremely good shape!!
I was hoping for more info on what soap bases, colors and scents for a newbe to start with. But there was a lot of good information about how to create different soaps. I am happy with this book.
