The Dog Whisperer is educational, emotional, and entertaining. This video made the perfect gift for my father who recently adopted a furry companion. However, My small children insisted on watching it several times first. To my surprise, they paid more attention to Dog Whisperer than they do to cartoons! The only complaint I have about this DVD, is that I wish it contained several more episodes. I look forward to purchasing more seasons of Dog Whisperer in the future.
Cesar Millan knows dogs! This DVD is very informative and will help anyone with canine behavioral problems to find the answers they've been looking for. Cesar does not "train" dogs to obey. He rehabilitates dogs and trains people! Dog pyscology is a lot different than dog training. Cesar has studied dog behavior since he was a child and knows what that dog is "thinking' based on its behavior, body language, and how the dog's owners approach the problem. This is a wonderful DVD and I would highly recommend it!
One of the first voumes not season. If you buy any of the first three single volumes pretty much don't need any of the seasons.

Personally I was a little disappointed in the DVD. It didn't cover a whole lot of problems and it didn't help me in any way with my new puppy. My new puppy is hard to stop jumping on people, expecially my grandson. He doesn't like to come over anymore because of it. She is not a herding dog and that is what he talked about in the DVD. I wish the sections were a little longer and cover more dogs then just one per episode.
I enjoyed Cesar's approach to dog training. He gives you the confidence that there is help for an unruly dog. After viewing his DVD, I was excited about working with our dog and I look forward to being able to walk our dog down the street and having people over without fear of how our dog might react. I can't wait to get more of Cesar's dog training DVD's. Thank you Cesar for showing us how to enjoy our dog and have friends over!
