I particularly wanted to print, copy, etc black and white and/or greyscale images. My old, old HP envy did a really good job,but when it bit the dust the new printers did horrid printing. This was recommended because it has the extra grey ink instead of the blue ink which is in newer models as well as the the two black inks. I found that I got the best results by printing/copying images with the printer set to color even though they were all black/white/grey. There is a lot of variance and that grey ink makes a ton of difference on the end product. It is a bit difficult to sit up and I didn't like the plastic parts. It makes a bit of noise when copying and is definitely slower than my old printer. (part of that is the setting from normal to best which always increases time to print). So while it sounds and feels rather cheap it does work very well for its intended purpose. The ink is fairly expensive but I have purchased cheaper refilled ink and will use that to see if it does as good a job as the Canon ink product. My only other issue is that it goes to sleep when not used and turns completely off. So if I am downstairs (frequently) and want to copy something over the network from a device which has been paired with the printer, I still have to go to the printer and turn the thing on. So having it paired on the wifi network isn't really functioning as it should. I need to explore whether I can override the automatic turn off and will update if able to do so.Read full review

It started out badly. The printer was delivered in a box that was inadequately taped and coming apart at the seams. But it turned out to be double boxed and the inner box was all sealed. But it was an Epson printer box so I thought the wrong printer got delivered. No it was the CANON 9020. The signal cable was difficult to install because its connection is inset too deeply against a wall so you need slender fingers or a special tool if you don't want to go wireless. Then the turned on, a paper jam error kept coming up on the display preventing printing. It took awhile until I found and cleaned up the jam. Then it printed well until several of the used inks ran out. My replaced black PGI ink cartridge turned out problematic for some reason producing terrible text as if it was not flowing consistently. So my bad. I replaced that cartridge with another new black PGI. Everything seems to work well now. Print and image quality is pretty good, and the scanner is better compared to my previous Canon TS6020. So if it stays that way, the new printer will prove to be a good value with very good results.Read full review

Easy to set up and print from computers, smart phones and tablets. Wired or wireless it has many great feature such as NFC "tap and print" technology...touch screen programming...CD and DVD label printing and photo touch-up. Printing, scanning and copying in this all-in-one printer are almost intuitive with the visual prompt of the 5-inch screen. A top performer at a truly affordable price.

I've had many printers in my time. This one is so sleek and easy to set up. I love the small size. The quality and speed of the printing is the best I've ever owned. I highly recommend this product. It's easy to set up. Fantastic price too.

Price value is really good! Print out and quality is excellent. I gave it 4 stars because the instructions are bad. For example, it should have said, the tray is automatic (it comes out and retracts automatically) . The manual paper feed needs more instructions. Wireless setup is easy because I am very technical person. But overall, the printer is very good and fast.
